Richard Gorman -
President and CEO

Richard has driven direction, strategy and execution as President and CEO at Vormetric since 2007. Vormetric is recognized today as the Leader in Encryption and Enterprise Key Management. Richard joined Vormetric with over 20 years of technology industry experience. Richard's experience includes being Senior Vice President of Products with Siebel Systems, where he drove product direction, strategy, and execution for over $1 billion in products, and integrated and managed five acquisitions of innovative software companies. He also served in senior management roles at Apple Computer, Sun Microsystems and Borland. Richard has been involved in a number of startups, including Ansa Software (developers of Paradox), which was acquired by Borland. Richard was a Venture Partner at Bay Partners and has served on the Board of Directors of a number of high tech software companies. He attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology for five years and has a B.S. and M.S. in Computer Science as well as a Master's degree in management from MIT Sloan School of Management.
Gretchen
Hellman - VP, Marketing and Product Management

Gretchen Hellman brings over 10 years
of enterprise security and enterprise software experience to
her role as the VP of Marketing and Product Management for Vormetric.
Most recently, Gretchen was Director of Product Marketing for
Voltage Security, where she led product marketing, field marketing
and corporate marketing initiatives. Prior to Voltage Security,
she was responsible for compliance market strategy at ArcSight,
where she drove initiative to apply ArcSights award winning
Security Information and Event Management solution to the regulatory
compliance market. She has also held marketing leadership roles
at Network Associates/McAfee. Gretchen began her career in information
security as a consultant specializing in security policy and
security program development. Gretchen is a frequent speaker
in the areas of security standards and control frameworks, regulatory
compliance strategies, security policy, and security technologies.
She holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Santa Clara University.
Bruce
Johnson - VP, Worldwide Sales Operations and Business
Development
Bruce Johnson heads up strategic alliances and business development
relationships worldwide in addition to international sales operations.
Johnson brings 18 years of information security experience including
solutions focused on data privacy and protection, intrusion
prevention/detection, security policy compliance, firewalls,
VPNs and identity management. Most recently, he served as Vice
President of Sales at Entercept, a leading provider of Host
Intrusion Prevention Systems. Prior to Entercept, Johnson was Vice
President of Sales at Arcot Systems, a company focused on the
delivery of digital identity solutions. Johnson also served
as Vice President of Sales and Business Development for Axent,
an information security corporation (acquired by Symantec).
Before Axent, he served as Vice President of Sales and Business
Development for Digital Pathways. He holds a B.A. in Economics
from California State University, Chico.
Greg Paulsen - CFO and VP, Finance

Greg brings an extensive background in finance and business development as well as many years of general business experience and leadership to the Vormetric team. Most recently, Greg served as CFO and VP of Operations at Presto Services, a consumer product and service business. Prior to Presto, Greg worked in leadership roles at Intuit. As a divisional Senior Director of Finance, he provided financial leadership and business consulting to grow and improve the operations of businesses in enterprise software, payment processing, and web services industries. Greg also served as Intuit's Vice President of Corporate Development, in which he and his team worked with many of the company's businesses on growth strategies and executed a variety of strategic transactions. Prior to Intuit, Greg spent several years at LSI Logic and PricewaterhouseCoopers in a variety of finance and consulting roles. At LSI he served as a senior leader in the corporate planning and analysis organization. At PricewaterhouseCoopers he led engagement teams to provide strategy and business consulting, M&A, and audit services to clients in numerous technology industries. Greg also serves as an advisor to companies on financial and strategic matters. Greg is a Certified Public Accountant and has an MSCE degree specializing in materials science from the University of Nevada at Reno and an MBA degree from the Graduate School of Business at Stanford.
