The Vormetric Data Security product portfolio provides data protection offerings to secure and control enterprise data at rest. Vormetric Data Security allows enterprises to encrypt sensitive data, control access to that information, and report on who is accessing the protected data. Vormetric supports all of the major platforms – Linux, Unix, Windows - and can be used in physical, virtual and cloud environments.
Vormetric Data Security can also provide key management to control keys for Transparent Data Encryption (TDE) for both Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server as well as provide a secure vault for storing encryption keys. It enables enterprises to have a common solution to protect both structured and unstructured data with encryption and enterprise key management.
Vormetric Data Security family of products provides a centrally managed and high performance system to manage data security across the distributed enterprise. Vormetric Data Security deploys easily while providing a strong combination of encryption, access control, key management and audit for files and databases.
Vormetric Data Security is comprised of two offerings, Vormetric Encryption and Vormetric Key Management. Vormetric Encryption secures data for all major platforms including Linux, Unix and Windows for physical, virtual and cloud environments and includes integrated key management. Vormetric Key Management manages keys for Vormetric Encryption Expert agents and Transparent Data Encryption environments from both Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server and provides optional key vault functionality to inventory and store encryption keys from any environment.
